School Related Distress

Presenter: Steph Nash, Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist (Inclusion)

Steph Nash is the Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist for Inclusion. She will present a summary about new guidance for School Related Distress and what next for Plymouth. She will also introduce families to Dan Siegel’s hand model of the brain related to experiencing anxiety with some ideas that can be helpful for parents to do and say with supporting children when they experience anxiety, especially when the experience feels overwhelming.
